Help Us Save the Alpine Garden!
For over 40 years the historic Alpine Garden was covered over and forgotten, but through the work of Fort Tryon Park Trust gardener Kean Eng and 9,600 volunteer hours, we've been able to reclaim much of its original splendor, meandering stone staircases and rock faced slopes,revitalizing the east side of Fort Tryon Park. Dedicated funding for Mr. Eng’s position expires on October 1, 2011! We need your help to ensure that the reclamation efforts of the past three years continue to flourish! Donate here in support of Kean Eng, the Alpine Garden and the Broadway Initiative. Thanks to a matching challenge from an anonymous donor, your gift will count twice!
